Meet Shannon Holb, LISW-S
Shannon is a Licensed Independent Social Worker. In 2006, Shannon earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Monmouth University after obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Georgian Court University. She has worked in community mental health, several public school systems and private practice. Prior to obtaining her Master’s Degree, Shannon worked as a case manager at a Head Start Program. As a licensed social worker, she enjoys working with adults dealing with trauma. Shannon is Basic Trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. She really loves educating others on how painful memories and trauma affect their thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Shannon also has training in DBT, CBT and Trauma-Focused CBT. She enjoys utilizing various interventions to help her clients achieve their highest potential.
Shannon loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys running, working out, reading, traveling and being outside.
