Meet Kris Sylvester, SWT

(she/her/hers)

Kris is in her last semester at Case Western Reserve University in the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences with a specialization in trauma-informed practice.

Kris takes a humanistic and anti-oppressive approach to their work with clients, believing that every individual has the inherent capacity for growth and healing when provided a safe, empathetic space. She is committed to creating an inclusive and non-judgmental environment where clients of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences feel heard, respected, and supported.

Whether working through anxiety, trauma, life transitions, emotional regulation, or family dynamics, she takes a client-centered approach, collaborating with clients to tailor treatment to their specific needs and goals.

Kris is open to working with individuals across the lifespan and values the diversity of the human experience. Her practice is grounded in respect for each person’s unique story, and she is dedicated to supporting clients in their journey toward healing, self-discovery, and empowerment.
In her free time Kris is likely to be outside tending to her garden or simply watching the clouds roll by.

Kris is under the supervision of Krystal Gesicki, LISW-S I.1600727-SUPV.
