Meet Allison Wilson, SWT

(She/her/hers)

Allison received her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University, where she is also currently working toward earning her Master of Social Work degree. She has previously worked and volunteered in hospital settings with people from all walks of life. She looks forward to learning more about herself and her clients throughout her internship experience while training alongside some amazing clinicians here at CLE Counseling and Wellness. She hopes to gain formal training and credentialing in the future that is supportive of the mental health of teens, young adults, and perinatal mental health.

Allison believes in the journey of self-empowerment and self-discovery that the therapeutic relationship can provide. Her compassionate, welcoming, and genuine approach supports the empowerment she strives to provide with each individual she crosses paths with. She believes each person is made up of beautifully complex parts that can be uncovered and better understood throughout a therapeutic relationship. Her priorities are to meet each individual exactly where they are, and use a holistic approach to support the unique needs and goals of each individual.

Allison is that she was a competitive cheerleader for 16 years and cheered up to the collegiate level. Her favorite way to spend her time is exploring the outdoors with her Wheaten Terrier puppy, Poet. She also loves spending her time doing yoga and pilates, finding new coffee shops to enjoy, and reading a good fantasy or thriller book.

Allison is under the supervision of Krystal Gesicki, LISW-S I.1600727-SUPV.
