Meet Halle Schelb
LPCC-S

Clinical Lead

(she/her/hers)

Halle Schelb is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Endorsement (LPCC-S) who works with adults navigating trauma, grief, and neurodivergence, including ADHD and autism.

She earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University and has advanced training in both trauma treatment and neurodivergent diagnostic assessment. Halle is an EMDR Certified therapist, an additional credential beyond basic training, indicating specialized experience and competency in using EMDR to treat trauma and related concerns.

In addition to therapy, Halle provides ADHD and autism evaluations, helping clients better understand how they think, process information, and move through the world. Her approach to assessment is neurodiversity-affirming, focusing not only on diagnosis but also on identifying strengths, patterns, and practical supports for daily life.

Halle also works as a speaker and trainer, providing education on neurodivergence, trauma, and mental health to both clinicians and the community.

Her clinical approach is flexible, direct, and collaborative, integrating evidence-based practices with a style that feels real and grounded. She is especially passionate about supporting neurodivergent clients in understanding themselves, reducing shame, and building lives that align with how they actually function—not how they feel they “should.”

Halle has particular experience supporting individuals who are:

– Processing trauma or grief
– Exploring or understanding ADHD and autism
– Navigating burnout, masking, or identity challenges
– Looking for both insight and practical strategies for daily functioning

She believes you don’t need to have everything figured out to start therapy—and that meaningful change happens through a combination of understanding, honesty, and actionable support.

Outside of the office, Halle is a proud dog mom to Remi. She enjoys getting lost in a good fiction book, being outdoors, and dancing around the house to music that’s definitely a little too loud. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her training for her next half marathon, indulging her inner Marvel fan, or exploring new places, especially if there’s even a remote chance of seeing hippos.
