Meet Sarah Obral
LPCC-S

(she/her/hers)

Sarah is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Endorsement. She received her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University in 2007 and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Rosemont College in 2015. Sarah has been working in the mental health field since 2015 and licensed since 2018, having worked at a number of community mental health agencies and seeing clients across the life span.

With education and training in a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), Sarah takes an integrative approach to counseling and believes in meeting people where they are. She hopes to help people hold space for the messiness of life, and approaches therapy with compassion, empathy, and humor (because sometimes we need a good laugh). Sarah specializes in helping individuals who are struggling with anxiety, grief, trauma, depression, and bipolar disorder, through a trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and strengths-based lens.

Outside of the office, Sarah spends her time reading as much as possible, starting yet another crochet project, hiking around the Metroparks, and visiting as many National Parks as possible with her husband and son.
