Meet Sarah Obral
LPCC-S

(she/her/hers)

Sarah Obral is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Endorsement (LPCC-S) who works primarily with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, mood disorders, and life transitions.

She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Case Western Reserve University and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Rosemont College. Sarah has been working in the mental health field since 2015 and has been independently licensed since 2018, with experience across community mental health and outpatient settings.

Sarah takes an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Her work is grounded in a harm-reduction, strengths-based framework, with a focus on helping clients better understand their patterns, build coping strategies, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

She has particular experience supporting adults who are:

– Managing anxiety, chronic stress, or burnout
– Processing grief and loss
– Navigating trauma and its ongoing impact
– Living with depression or bipolar disorder
– Feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them

Sarah believes therapy should be both supportive and real, a space where you can explore the messy parts of life while also developing practical tools to move forward. She brings warmth, empathy, and a sense of humor into her work, recognizing that sometimes growth includes both difficult conversations and moments of lightness.

Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys reading as much as possible, starting (and occasionally finishing) crochet projects, exploring the Cleveland Metroparks, and visiting National Parks with her husband and son.
