(she/her/hers)
Tara is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work degree at Case Western Reserve University, and, previous to her time spent with the amazing folks at CLE Counseling, worked at the LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland. Every day, she is honored to learn from her coworkers, supervisor, and her clients. Creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered while staying mindful of how power, identity, and societal influences shape each person’s experience are her goals for each session.
Tara is looking forward to adding MSW to the top of the list of her careers and passion projects! The list already includes being a licensed nail technician, a member of Actors’ Equity Association, bandmates with her partner and dear friends, a volunteer at The Lilith Fund, a Texas-based abortion fund, a writer with pieces in the Washington Post, Harness Magazine, InsideOut, and others, and proud cat mama of 3.
Tara is under the supervision of Krystal Gesicki, LISW-S I.1600727-SUPV.
