Emma is currently attaining a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at John Carroll University. She is a counselor trainee with a strong theoretical foundation in Motivational Interviewing. Emma honors the unique perspectives, identity, beliefs, and experiences of each individual client, and actively works to create a comprehensive treatment plan that is tailored to the specific needs of each individual. As a counselor trainee, Emma believes she can lean the most through interactions with others, and values the insight she gains from co-workers and supervisors at CLE Counseling and Wellness Center, as well as from the client’s she meets in session.
After attaining her master’s degree, Emma plans to acquire a Certified Mental Performance Consultant Certification furthering her ability to help athletic populations with their mental and physical well-being. Emma is a proud dog mom to a sassy golden retriever named Momo. As a previous collegiate athlete, Emma enjoys taking long scenic walks, playing sports, watching movies, and enjoying quality time with friends and family.
