Specialized ADHD and autism assessments for adults

Living with the uncertainty of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or autism can be tough, especially when you’re trying to make sense of it on your own. Most of our clients are seeking out answers in adulthood to help explain their life experiences. We see you! Our ADHD and autism assessments are designed to help you find clarity, refine your treatment, and support your path to well-being.

Why Choose our Assessment Services?

  • Specialization in Neurodiversity
    • Our clinicians receive focused training in neurodiversity and understand the unique experiences of neurodiverse individuals. Don't worry - we will help you find the answers you’ve been looking for with the care and respect you deserve.
  • Focused on You
    • Every person is different and so is our approach! We take the time to understand your specific needs and tailor the assessment to fit you, because your story is important and unique.
  • Comprehensive and Supportive
    • Testing isn’t just about getting a diagnosis – it’s about gaining insight into who you are! Our process is thorough and compassionate, providing you with a clear understanding of your results and how they can support you.

What to Expect

  • Request for Services
    • Your first step is a request for services where you’ll specify the test you want. This can be done on our contact page. There are boxes for you to check off for one or both assessments. Once this form is submitted, our client care coordinator will reach out to get you set up with an appointment!
  • Paperwork
    • Before your session, we'll send you some practice paperwork along with a few self-assessments to complete. They might take a little time, but think of them as a head start on your journey—helping us get to know you better so we can make the most of our time together!
  • Sessions
    • Our journey starts with an intake session, where we’ll chat about your history and experiences. After that, we’ll dive into the assessments you’ve completed, along with other questionnaires, to get a full picture of your cognitive and behavioral patterns. This process is unique to each person and can typically take anywhere from 2 to 10 sessions.

  • Results and Next Steps
    • Once your assessment report is ready (usually within 2-4 weeks), we’ll meet to go over the findings together. We’ll break everything down in a clear, supportive way—helping you understand what your results mean, how they show up in your daily life, and what steps you can take next. Think of it as putting the puzzle pieces together to create a roadmap that works for you!

Who should consider ADHD or autism assessments?

  • If you’re already in therapy, assessments can provide valuable insights and be a beneficial add-on to your existing treatment.
  • If you’re seeking clarity, and you’ve noticed a pattern of behaviors you can’t fully understand, the assessments are an option to help you find answers.
  • If you want to improve treatment outcomes and think autism or ADHD is part of your lived experience, our assessments can lead to more personalized and effective care.
