Allise is a Licensed Professional Counselor who graduated from Cleveland State University with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has experience treating adolescent and adult clients with a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and relationship issues. Allise strives to create a comfortable, non-judgmental approach in her sessions and approaches counseling with humor, openness, and self compassion. Allise takes a narrative stance with counseling: each person has a story they have been told or themselves have written and understanding the story is the first step in change. Each person is unique and important, so she meets her clients where they are at, wherever that may be for each individual. Allise also encourages clients to engage in honest self-exploration by identifying their existing strengths to help them accomplish their goals.
In her spare time, Allise enjoys traveling, reading, hiking, spending time with her English bulldog, and competitive powerlifting.
Allise is under the supervision of Samantha Willi, LPCC-S E.1800536-SUPV.
