Meet Hannah Belden, CT

(she/her/hers)

Hannah is a counseling trainee who is completing her master’s in clinical mental health counseling at John Carroll University. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from The Ohio State University and minored in child abuse and neglect. Hannah has experience working with children in acute mental health crises in an inpatient unit setting as a Mental Health Specialist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, OH. She also has experience working with a nonprofit to run suicide prevention programs in middle and high schools around Northeast Ohio. Hannah is an Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist Assistant (OCPSA).

Hannah is interested in working with clients of all backgrounds and practices a trauma-informed approach. Hannah’s goals are to make all clients feel heard and accepted while helping them develop the tools that they need to navigate any challenges they face.

In her free time, Hannah loves to practice yoga, take walks with her dog, and read a good book.  She also enjoys spending time with friends, cheering on the Browns, and her guilty pleasure is reality TV.

Hannah is under the supervision of Samantha Willi, LPCC-S E.1800536-SUPV.
