(she/her/hers)
Molly is currently pursuing her master’s in clinical mental health counseling at Walsh University. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Kent State University, and has primarily worked in cancer, hospice, and palliative care settings. Her interest in becoming a therapist began working with those faced with their own mortality and further grew when she experienced the gaps in support healthcare workers faced during the height of the pandemic.
Molly is particularly interested in learning more about Dialectical Behavior Theory (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and somatic approaches to healing, especially in the context of trauma, grief, and major life transitions. Her goal is to develop a holistic and trauma-informed counseling style that honors both the emotional and physical experiences of healing.
In her free time, Molly loves spending time with her husband and dog, and traveling both locally and internationally. She enjoys reading, hiking, listening to music, and relishing time spent with friends and family.
