Meet Jennifer Schuler
LPCC-S

(she/her/hers)

Jen (Jennifer) Schuler is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervisor Endorsement (LPCC-S) and and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) who works with adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, relationship challenges, life transitions, and identity exploration.

Jen earned her Master’s degree in Community Counseling from John Carroll University in 2003 and has worked in a variety of clinical settings with diverse populations throughout her career. With more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field, she brings a warm, collaborative, and person-centered approach to therapy that honors each client’s unique experiences and strengths.

Jen utilizes evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients better understand patterns, process traumatic experiences, and develop healthier coping strategies. She also has experience supporting individuals impacted by alcoholism and addiction, as well as those struggling with anxiety, panic, intrusive thoughts, chronic stress, and burnout.

As a certified yoga teacher, Jen incorporates a holistic, mind-body approach into her work and may integrate mindfulness, breathwork, guided meditation, or yoga-based techniques into sessions when appropriate. She especially enjoys helping clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of their purpose reconnect with themselves in a more meaningful and compassionate way.

Jen may be a good fit for adults who are:

– Navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions
– Recovering from addiction or unhealthy coping patterns
– Exploring identity, purpose, or spirituality
– Feeling overwhelmed by work, relationships, or family responsibilities
– Interested in holistic or mind-body approaches to therapy
– Looking for practical coping skills alongside deeper emotional healing

Jen believes therapy should be a supportive and authentic space where clients feel safe to grow, heal, and better understand themselves without judgment. Her style is compassionate, grounded, and collaborative, while also helping clients build practical tools for lasting change.

Outside of the office, Jen enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, walking her dogs, and practicing yoga
